Let It Go or perhaps be Pulled Down
July 29th, 2016, 3:26AM
Attachment to items that don’t help us substantially is usually a Buddhist concept of the reason behind suffering as well as misery. We say “Let go or perhaps be dragged down,” what will it truly suggest? Exactly how should we re-condition ourselves to actually “let go” plus acknowledge elements when there’s so much wrong with the world as you may know it? And also: Get rid of exactly what, exactly- our belongings, family, inner thoughts, thoughts and opinions, and our hate and prejudices? Easier in theory.

Autumn leaves are turning red and gold throughout New England, The High Holy Days are here, as well as the Day of Death (Halloween) is approaching- and my spiritual mind turns towards the poignancy of getting older and death. Maybe it’s since my father passed away at the end of august as well as my mom in September. Or perhaps is my very own later season nearing as well? Who knows? Life is tenuous. Lama Surya Das says: Handle with prayer.

Since the debate season, most people I do know says something such as “I can’t wait for this to be over!” I feel equally, but will also recognize that this ain’t just simply likely to be over when the election occurs as well as whenever an inauguration comes about. There’s simply no real end in sight; this is just more of a beginning with the endless, if one seems to be deeper, each practically as well as spiritually conversing. A wise gentleman suggested: “The endless knot of eternity is actually spherical as an apple.”
